A Real Page-Turner.

Sheesh, Owen -- didn't ya ever stop to think maybe there's a reason nobody uses the old family chapel anymore?!

  1. Guessing it’s a prayer book, the ghost has OCD, and he’s been missing a single word of a single sentence every time.

  2. Okay, so I’m assuming that’s the statue to the left of the pulpit that we see only a little bit of on the prior page.
The speech bubble on the panel we see it in covered the whole upper body, including the hands, so can’t use those to match, but since Owen was moving to the left of the pulpit, it makes sense. Also, the hand of the statue makes it clear it’s not the one near the door, which has it’s hands pressed together in prayer.

But for the scuffs, I’d think this might be just the wind (though if the wind is that strong, he’d probably hear it), but since we had scuffs, I’m wondering who is playing with Owen, Claire or Lavinia (I rule out Claire’s younger brother, as I don’t him caring to go onto the Uncle’s property even for mischief).
