Looks like Owen's in for a warm welcome in the little hamlet of Crooked Mile! :(
So much for the don’t talk to anyone 😉
I know, right? You had one job, Owen
Well, they’re making him nervous with all that glaring! He has to fill the silence. (I *may* have personal experience with this phenomenon.)
Owen’s a people-pleaser, he just can’t help himself… One of these days the poor tyke’ll learn you can’t be liked by everyone, but as I can tell you from bitter experience, it takes at LEAST 38 years (don’t ask me how I know).
He’s not talking to anyone. He’s talking to everyone.
