Thank you for letting me know! Sorry I didn’t see this sooner…I haven’t checked in on the site in a while (obvs!), and I realized I had a bunch of plugins that needed updating. Maybe that was causing the navigation problems. Or else I just posted this comic in some weird way that broke things! Sometimes I hit publish before I’ve added a title and that messes up the linking. Anyway, hopefully it’s cleared up now!
I imagine this is the least sexist the uncles have been with a woman. You’re here to help, just keep up. I guess that might have been some aesthetic differences, but it seems they would have treated a man the same.
My brother-in-law is a chemist (perfumer, not pharmacist) and he told me about an occasion when a pipe broke in the lab, dousing one of his colleagues with whatever liquid it was carrying. Correctly following the safety procedure, she immediately ran for the shower. As it turned out, she’d already had one – it was only water.
But I imagine that the uncles don’t have a shower handy.
Annoying! I test the buttons pretty often and they always seem to work for me…wish I could catch that bug in action to see what’s going on. I’m not sure what would cause it, because it’s not like I have to link the individual pages or anything, that all happens automatically (theoretically). Sorry about that!
Is there more of this? I only get to november 2021. Today (april 2022) a new page appered that has been posted november 2021!

Hi! Thanks for asking–there will definitely be more! I have the next chapters scripted and several pages in progress. I’m just focusing on my other comic right now because it’s so close to done–plus I’m under contract for another graphic novel, so that one has actual deadlines and an editor expecting sketches 🙂

Ah, there we are! Just caught up Ninecrow and this in one sitting, I couldn’t stop. So addictive. *-* The colors, the shading, the characters, the expressions, the plot, the overall atmosphere of BOTH comics… I just find myself so enamored with every aspect of them!!

Coming very soon! I’m wrapping up my other comic Ninecrow this month, then I’m getting the book ready to print, and then once that’s done I’ll have time to get back to Crooked Mile. I hope to start posting new pages in June or July 🙂
